Ruth LeBlanc Montagino peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 78. Beloved and loving wife of the late Anthony Salvador Montagino. Daughter of the late Edna Blanchard LeBlanc and Leon Benoit LeBlanc. Loving and devoted mother of Suzette Hernandez, Belinda Kassel (Logan), Pamala Ott (John) and Julie Montagino. Beloved Mother-in-Law of the late Gary Clouatre, Sr. Loving Grandmother of Chad Robinson (Crystal), Bambi Rojas (Theron), Gary Clouatre, Jr. (Naomi), Jene’ Lavigne, Anthony Ott and the late Craig Anthony Robinson (Survived by Amanda). Beloved Great Grandmother of Charity Richards, Nicholas Merchant, Alexander Robinson, Nathanael Robinson and Arianna Robinson. Sister of the late Doris LeBlanc and Allen LeBlanc. Ruth is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was an Administrator the Louisiana Department of Health for 24 years. She was a member of LPHA, an active Parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church and a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Council 8615. . Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
