Ruth “Ruthie Baby” Williams Slocum Price passed away on October 28, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Price and the late John Slocum, Sr. Loving companion of Richard Ward. Mother of John Slocum, Jr. (Janelle), Deborah Macalusa (Louis), Darlene Goris (John Sr.) and Raymond Price (Andrea). Sister of Beverly Duet and the late Hillary Williams, Jr. Daughter of the late Mary Harris Williams and Hillary A. Williams. She is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson along with many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to Hospice Compassus for their care. Relatives, friends and employees of Exceeds Their Needs and Southern Flow are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM and Wednesday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
