Salvador Joseph Ingegniero, Jr., a retired draftsman with Getty-Texaco Oil after 35 years and an Air National Guard Veteran, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the age of 71. Beloved companion of Gaynell Hebert Peterson for the past 30 years. Former husband of Barbara C. Smith. Step father of Steven Peterson (Shannon), Craig Peterson (Debbie), Tracey P. Huff (Bobby) and Brian Peterson (Ginger). Brother of Andrew J. Ingegniero (Barbara) and the late Samuel (Betty). Son of the late Salvador J. Ingegniero Sr. and Mildred Matherne Ingegniero. Survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation will be Saturday from 8:30 AM until service time.
