Salvatrice “Tudy” Bridges, Owner and Operator of Bridges Causeway Cleaners for 45 years, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Harold Bridges. Daughter of the late Giovanni Barcelona and Concetta Chimento Barcelona. Loving mother of Paul Bridges. Grandmother of Kaley Bridges and Ryan Bridges. Sister of Josephine Barcelona Melanson (the late Claude) and the late Rosalie Barcelona Dixon and Marie Barcelona Dominick. Tudy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Alia Sicily, Italy and was a resident of Marrero, LA. Family and friends, also customers of Bridges Causeway Cleaners, are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
