Sandra Lynn Drennan Breaux

Sandra Lynn Drennan Breaux passed away into the loving Arms of Our Lord on Dec. 5th, 2011.Sandy was born on May 31st 1951. She was married for 41 years to her beloved husband, Merrill J. “Mel “ Breaux. Sandy has 3 children, Sean C Breaux (deceased), Shannan Breaux Dimmick, and Merrill J. “M.J.” Breaux Jr. Sandy also has 5 Grandchildren, Evan Bell, Collin Bell, Morgan Bell, Dylan Breaux and Natalie Breaux. Her 6th grandchild, Brynna Dimmick is due in April of 2012.Sandy is the daughter of Estus Drennan Jr. and Yvonne Davis Drennan. She has two brothers, Lester Wayne Drennan and Michael Drennan. Sandy fervently prayed and worshiped the Virgin Mary and throughout her life held strongly to that belief. A native of Gretna, La., Sandy and family moved to Texas in 1987. Her heart, however, never left the beauty and calling of her beloved French Quarter. Sandy is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews who will sorely miss her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA. Immediate Family visitation is from 2:00PM – 3:00PM, and the Memorial is from 3:00PM to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sandy’s favorite charity, The Special Olympics.
