Sandra Hopel Burton, a Clerk at the Gretna Courthouse for Judge Gegenheimer for 38 years, Passed away on Saturday September 3, 2011. She was the Beloved Daughter of Jennie Thibodeaux Hopel and The Late Charles G Hopel Sr., Sister of Kenneth J. Hopel, and Charles G. Hopel Jr., and the Late Kathleen H. Leinhardt. Age 56 and a Native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 20 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also Employees of the Gretna Courthouse are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday September 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
