Sandy was born on March 1, 1942, to Grace Marie Treadaway Coulon and Dewey Herbert Coulon. She lived in Harvey, LA until 1970 when she and her husband, whom she married on May 9, 1964, moved to Marrero and raised their family. Sandy was the grandmother of Brady, Tyler, Gareth Jr. and Grayson, and was proud to be known as “Gram” or “Gam”. Prior to her marriage, Sandy worked for South Central Bell with her dear friend, Helen Mae Leblanc Palermo, also affectionately known as “Doppie” to Garth and Gareth. Sandy retired in 1964 to raise her family. Sandy graduated from Immaculata High School in 1960 with her lifelong dear friend, Loretta Ledet Sievers.
