Sandra "Sandy" Treadway Maltese

God opened his pearly gates on Wednesday, October 09, 2013 to welcome home Sandra “Sandy” Treadway Maltese at the age of 68. She was a native of Plaquemines Parish and retired from Plaquemines Parish Government after 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Salvador “Sonny” Maltese, Jr.; her daughter, Veronica Maltese Ansalve (Terry); Grandson, Johnathan Ansalve; her sisters, Beverly Anglada and Alena “Nonnie” Ronquillo-Pelas. Sandy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillian “Lil” T. Treadway; her father, Russell “Lep” Treadway; her brother, Kenneth Treadway and her sister, Claudette Treadway. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pearl Bergeron for her care at this difficult time. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 8:30AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10AM.
