Sandra Guillot Prude

Sandra Guillot Prude went home to her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 56 years to William A. Prude. Loving mother of Kelly Stelly, Dana Bourgeois (John Jr.) and Janalyn Kersey (the late Timothy). Grandmother of Brandon, Blake, Brian, John III, Christopher, Sandy and Stephanie. Great-grandmother of Ashlyn, Aiden, Landen, Liam, Braxton and Aubree. Sister of Ronald Guillot, Wade Duay and the late Glen Wright. Daughter of the late Xavier J. Guillot and Hilda Trosclair Duay. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Sandra worked for many years as a waitress at several different Westbank restaurants. She was a talented home cook who was known for her homemade barbeque sauce and barbequed chicken, a family favorite. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a devout Christian who, along with her beloved William, helped lead her family in God’s word. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego, LA.
