Sandra Younger Winston

Sandra Younger Winston passed away at home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the age of 71 years. She was born in New Orleans on July 16, 1944, the daughter of the late John F. Younger and Mae Flattmann Younger. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert D. Winston, Jr., her daughter, Laurel W. Labit (Jerry), and her grandson, Hunter K.W. Tracey. She is also survived by her "sisters", Carol C. Patai, Jane C. Loup, Peggy C. Adams, Joyce B. Boudet, her aunts, Rita Budge, Mildred C. Hinyub, Maureen Provenzano, and her uncle, Gus Flattmann Sr., her sister in law, Liz Winston and brother in law, Kenneth Winston. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed painting, gardening, and travelling. She will be mostly remembered for her selflessness. Family and friends of the family are invited to attend A Visitation from 6pm until 9pm on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA. A Prayer Service will be held at 8pm.
