Santa Cardenal Bonnin on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the age of 88. Wife of the late William Bonnin, Sr. Mother of Sylvia Coldwell (Cary), Sharon Cancienne, Celeste Broussard, William Bonnin, Jr. and Adrene Marcotte. Step-mother of Charles Bonnin of San Augustine, TX. Grandmother of Christi Danos, Cary Coldwell, Jr., Jeffrey Dunaway, Jr. and Alicia Davis. Great grandmother of Bryce Dunaway, Jonathan Danos, Cameron Coldwell and Brendan Davis. Sister of the late Dominick Cardenal, Salvadore “Sam” Cardenal and Russell Cardenal. Daughter of the late Soule Cardenal and Sylvia Martino Cardenal. Also survived by her “grand dog” Neko, a host of nieces, nephews and numerous other family members. A lifelong resident of Harvey, LA.
The family would like to specially thank all Mrs. Bonnin’s caregivers including Shelia Cardenal, Jackie Nash, Kelci Miller, Rachel Guidry, Brenda Peterson and Laurie Ohmer.
Relatives and friends of the family, also Employees of Creative Cakes, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and MI SWACO were invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rosalie Church on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. A visitation was at 9 AM at Church. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
