Sarah Marcello Taylor Salathe on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Wayne J. Salathe from a second marriage and the late George A. Taylor from a first marriage. Daughter of the late Lucas Marcello and Bernadette Mustachia Marcello. Step-mother of Shannon S. Fayard (husband, Marshall), Sharon S. Montabano (husband, the late Dr. Roy) and Stanton W. Salathe (wife, Judy). Sister of the late Mary Taulli, Laura Pierce, Marguerite Ziifle, Lucas,Jr., Michael and Joseph Marcello. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Age, 90 yrs. A native of Labadieville, LA and a former resident of Belle Chasse, LA and Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also the staff and residents of Woldenberg Village Nursing Home are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment, Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Monday from 9 AM until 11 AM. Special thanks to her devoted niece Darilyn and husband, Danny Schieffler.
