Sharon Wilcox Kraus

Sharon Wilcox Kraus passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Douglas Paul Kraus. She is survived by her loving children Lisa Kraus McMorris and husband Tommy, Douglas Paul Kraus, Jr. and wife Tara, and David Paul Kraus and wife Cindy. Mimi, as she was affectionately called by her cherished grandsons Taylor and Eric Counce, Henry, Andrew, Ian, & Colin Kraus, Dawson, Presley, & Max Kraus, and great-grandson Eric Counce, Jr. Her brother Melvin J. Wilcox, Jr. and wife Janice, her brother-in-law Russell B. Kraus and wife Jeannie, and sister-in-law Margie M. Kraus. Also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives, and friends. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Melvin Joseph Wilcox and Della Hope Landry Wilcox, in-laws Andrew Henry and Martha Ramsey Kraus, and brother-in-law Andrew H. Kraus, Jr. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 am. Church will be open for a Memorial Visitation from 9:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow mass at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
