Sharon L. Simoneaux

Sharon Mary Lampley Simoneaux, age 82, a resident of Harvey, LA for 57 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness on March 23, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents James Stevens and Irma Garcia Stevens. She is survived by her husband Harry Simoneaux, children Shanna Taravella, Kelly Simoneaux, and Steven Simoneaux. Grandmother of Chad Taravella (Kimberly), Blake Taravella (Melissa), Mandi Dufrene (Darren), and Krystal Alonzo. Great-grandmother of Bentley, Hudson, Royce, Cooper, and Camryn Taravella, Madison Gambino, Maci, Mason, and Marci Dufrene, Tristan and Aubrie Chelette, and Everly Alonzo. She is also survived by her sister Jamie Stevens and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a graduate of Redemptorist High School, class of 1959. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:30PM in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey.
