Sharon Cherry Welch passed away peacefully on Thursday October 25th, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with a lung disease. Daughter of Frank Cherry Jr. & Shirley Penn Perkins. Mother of Brandi Welch Cadiere, Mother-in law of Chad Cadiere. Grandmother of Caila & Chad Jr. Sister of Diane Mohr (the late Steve), Frank Cherry III, Melinda Reis (John), William Thomassie ( Michele), Michael Penn (Tracy). She will be greatly missed by her faithful companions Chloe & Cocoa (her four legged babies) as well as a host of nieces, nephews and loving relatives and friends. Relatives & friends of the family are invited to attend a remembrance service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, on Sunday October 28, 2012 . Visitation 2:00PM-5:00 PM, memorial service begins at 5:00 PM. Sharon was an avid Saints fan so please wear your Black and Gold in her memory.
