Shawn Russell New passed away on October 10, 2016 at the age of 48 years. Beloved wife of Kenneth D. New. Mother of Heather Herdt (Jeffrey), Zachary “Seth” Russell, Rachel New and Ian Belverstone. Grandmother of Gavin, Cole, Aiden and Sylena. Daughter of Beverly Parker Russell and J.W. Russell Jr. Sister of Britt Russell, Jacob Russell and J. Lynn Russell. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
