Sheila Plaisance Abadie

Sheila Plaisance Abadie entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Abadie, Sr. Daughter of the late Elson and Ovelia Plaisance. Mother of Joseph “Ted” Guillot, Jr. (Wife, Lisa). Grandmother of Ashley, Brittany and Hunter Guillot. Sister of Donald Plaisance and the late Elsie Plaisance Delhomer, Gerald Plaisance, and Elson Plaisance, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a school teacher for the Archdiocese of New Orleans for many years. Sheila was a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego, LA.
