Shelton Carr

Shelton Carr was born August 31, 1970 in New Orleans and died September 6, 2015. Shelton was raised in Heidelberg, Mississippi by Charley Carr and Ida Mae Car. He is preceded in death by his mother Ida Mae Carr. Shelton leaves to mourn his memory: his father Charley Carr, his brother Charles Carr, Zemelda, his sister Audrea Steve, his wife Shawn and Children Eureeka, Hakeem, Tatyanna, Destiny, Tasia, Kevonda, Kevarius, Darchelle and Risean, and Grandchildren: Jayden, Peyton, Takyrian, Xavier, and k’darrison along with a host of family and friends. Shelton was a member of the United States Army Reserve for 20 years. During his time he served two years in Iraq working as a control specialist. He also held employee positions with: AAA Cooper, FedEx, SMG, and OPSO. Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 is in charge of the funeral service. Visitation begins on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2 pm and the service will start promptly at 3pm. Following the Service will be a repast at 909 Garden Road, Marrero, LA 70072.
