Sherri Marie Alford Pizani passed away on April 6, 2015. Fiance’ of Francisco “Poncho” Rodriguez. Daughter of Diane Marie Delaune Alford Knox and Wayne David Alford. Stepdaughter of Byron J. Knox. Loving mother of Daniel Ray Alford, Brandy Lynn Alford (Michael Fletcher), Brittany Lee Alford, Tiffany Ann Alford, Gary Clyde Pizani III (Amanda) and Malcolm James Alford. Loving grandmother of Bailey Dee’ Marie Fletcher, Mailey Mircale Marie Fletcher, Jerry Lee Kerley III, J’ayla Aliece Broussard, Jariah Dominic Broussard, Jorian Henry Broussard, Jarret James Brown, Isabella Marie Brown, Tatiana Le’ann Brown, Aubree Faye Pizani, Paisley Rae Pizani, Mia Isabella Alford and Daniel Ray Hall. Beloved sister of Gwen Marie Alford Soileau (Chad Soileau) and the late Wayne David Alford, Jr. and the late Shelia Lynn Alford. Step sister of David Walker, Dewayne Walker, Derek Walker and Nicholas Walker. Granddaughter of the late Taylor Alford, Maude Beeson, Stanley J. Delaune and Lorina Hebert Delaune Zeringue. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Sherri was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
