Shirley Shows Centanni

Shirley Shows Centanni passed away on December 23, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Raymond R. Centanni, Sr. Mother of Raymond R. Centanni, Jr. (wife Gina), Darryl D. Centanni (wife, the late Sarah) and Thomas J. Centanni. Grandmother of Joseph S. Centanni (wife Aimee), Lenice D. Centanni, Dominic D. Centanni and Jason A. Centanni. Sister of Harry N. Shows (wife Vicki). Daughter of the late Audie Belle Cannon Shows and Thomas Harry Shows. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Shirley retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office after 20 years of service and served as an Executive Secretary in the 2nd District. As a woman of faith, she completed the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), was very active in her Church and helped to organize the annual Church fair. She served her community as president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Italian-American Society of Jefferson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Rosalie Catholic Church 601 2nd Avenue in Harvey on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will follow.
