Shirley Strohmeyer Isenmann of Belle Chasse, LA died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late George Dewey Isenmann. Mother of Donna I. Rivera, Jan I. Schmidt and Glenn D. Isenmann. Mother-in-law of David E. Schmidt, Sr. and William Rivera, Jr. Sister of June Brockhoeft, Melody Webre and the late Robert J. Strohmeyer. Sister-in-law of Catherine I. Gegenheimer. Daughter of the late George L. Strohmeyer and Odelia Boudreaux Strohmeyer. Grandmother of David Schmidt, Jr. (Gina), Michael Schmidt, Kelli Schmidt and Drew G. Rivera. Great Grandmother of Hailey Schmidt and Cameron Schmidt. Shirley was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 52 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8970 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 11AM until 1PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will be held at a later date.
