Shirley Melling Perrien passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Ferdinand Perrien. Mother of Dennis Perrien (Sylvia) and Gary Perrien (Patricia). Grandmother of Kerry, Ashley (Kim), Craig (Christie), and Corey Perrien (Kara). Great-grandmother of Annalese, Hunter, Gabe, Hailee, Jacob, Liana, Logan, and Lyssa. Daughter of the late Ava and Edwin Melling, Sr. Sister of Edwin Melling, Jr. and the late Dorothy Madison (Claude). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. Age 89 years, a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA, and loving mother and friend to many. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be from 11 AM until funeral time. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
