Shirley Rodriguez Dufrene Scheppegrell (Pullen) passed away on July 23, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Beloved mother of Chad D. Dufrene (Claire). Grandmother of Rachel Dufrene, Eric Abadie (Caitlin Creppel) and Heather Havard. Great-grandmother of Brandt Abadie. Sister of the late Pearl Esteve. Aunt of Judy Babin (Malcolm Jr.) and Eddie Esteve. Great-aunt of Jessica McNeil (A.J.) and Malcolm Babin III (Kristin). Great-great-aunt of Evan and Owen McNeil. Also survived by her dear friends, Lois Kaiser, Gail Dandry, Doreen Pertuit and Audrey Thomassie along with several step-children and her canine companion, Zack.
Shirley was an LPN and worked at West Jefferson Medical Center, Wynhoven Health Care Center and for Dr. C.J. Meyers and Dr. William Scheppegrell. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts and lives of so many people. She will be sadly missed but her life will be celebrated.
