Sibyl Ann Leach

Sibyl Ann Leach, age 82, died on May 25, 2015. She was born on March 8, 1933, in Epps, LA. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sibyl Gilmore. She graduated from Epps High School and Louisiana Tech University.
In 1954, Ann married the love of her life, William G. “Bill” Leach. She lived in New Orleans for 55 years, and was a dedicated teacher for 32 years. She was active in gardening, bridge, garden club, and walking her dogs. Ann and Bill have been members of Oak Park Baptist Church for 54 years.
Ann is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Virginia and Alan McDaniel of Goliad,TX, son William Michael Leach of New Orleans, daughter Allison and Dr. Rob Wetzel of Clinton, MO, her brother Dr. Joe and JoAnn Gilmore of Ruston, LA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren-William, John, and Michael McDaniel, and Casey, Janie, and Camille Wetzel, as well as 3 great grand-children.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Oak Park Baptist Church, 1110 Kabel Drive, Algiers, LA on Thursday, May 28, 9:00am-11:00a.m before the funeral at 11:00a.m.
Funeral services will be held at Oak Park Baptist Church on Thursday, May 28, 11:00 a.m. Interment, Epps Cemetery, Epps, LA. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer Foundation. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com .
