Sidney "Butch" Paul Tassin passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Father of Nicole T. Pourciau Tyer and John Paul Tassin. Grandfather of Lacey Barrett, Ryan Pourciau, Jamee Shaffett, and Christopher Pourciau. Great Grandfather of Sam, Liam, Monique, Isabella, and Max. Son of the late Beulah and Maure Tassin. Brother of Maure Tassin, Jr., and Barbara Ziegler. Preceded in death by his loving partner, Irene White. Step father of Nola, Michael and Michelle White. Uncle of Michelle Hux, Bruce, Bobby and Steven Tassin. He was a lifelong resident of Covington, LA. Private services will be held at a later date.
