Simone Aubry Aube

Simone Aubry Aube passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Andre P. Aube. Loving mother of Mimi Cheramie, Patrick Aube (Merline), Josette Aube-Laiche (Shane), the late Chantal Bergeron (Archie), Joyce Bitoun and Cindy Bitoun. Grandmother of Andreya, Kenny, Ryan, Crystal, Autumn, Jude, Chance, Trae, Deja, Kandyse, Tara, Amber and Alisha. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Trenton, Ariya, Avery, Adelaid, Reece, Camryn, Zachary, Royce, Emma, Hannah and Lennon, Brooke and Shaun. Sister of Gerard Aubry, the late Robert, Georgette and Juliette. Daughter of the late Andre Aubry and Amelie Nesme Aubry. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Simone was a native of Lyons, France and was a resident of the Westbank. She worked for many years with the Jefferson Parish Public School System and retired as cafeteria staff at Catherine Strehle Elementary School. She touched the lives of so many and while her passing is sorrowful, her life and legacy will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1 PM. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Tuesday from 8 AM to 1 PM.
