Spencer H. Aguilar, Sr. passed away on July 4, 2012 at the age of 32 years. Survivors include his fiancé, Jennifer Ranatza; son, Spencer H. Aguilar, Jr., parents, Peggy Mansfield Aguilar and Mike M. Aguilar, Sr.; sister, Sarah Aguilar; brother, Mike M. Aguilar, Jr. and his wife Kim; grandmother, Victoria Mansfield; nephew, Lestat Aguilar, his niece and godchild, Madison Aguilar and 1 expected niece. He is also survived by his beloved canine companions, “Boo Boo”, Jackson, Ellouise, Lulu, Rowley, Max and his feline companions, Kimee and Minew. He is preceded in death by grandparents, John Mansfield, Josephine and Jesus Aguilar.
Spencer was employed by Smitty’s Cycles and had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Spencer was also a musician and an aspiring draftsman. His happiest day was when his son was born on June 26, 2012. He enjoyed being a father and family man. He looked forward to sharing his hobbies with his son, like Remote Control Cars and Helicopters, riding dirt bikes, transformers and heavy metal music.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Saturday from 8 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marrero for 11 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.
