Spencer Duhe Noel

Spencer Duhe Noel passed away on March 27, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Phyllis “Penny” Richarme Noel. Father of BrandiLynn N. Schmitt, Brigette N. Murphy and Brent G. Noel. Father-in-law of Warren Schmitt and Jeremy Murphy. Poppe to Peryn and Blake Schmitt, Sadie, Bailey and Rylee Murphy. Son of the late Claire Duhe Noel and Roy R. Noel. Brother of Russell, Bruce, Roeling and Elroy Noel, Renee N. Wenzel, Maris N. Dean, the late Gerard L., Wayne R. and Lynn M. Noel, Fay N. Winningkoff and Sandra N. Lyons. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Spencer was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and later worked for Entergy/N.O.P.S.I. for almost 30 years and Overhead Underground Electrical Supply Inc. He was a member of the Irish Channel Marching Club for over 38 years, Friends of St. Alphonsus and alumni of Cor Jesu (Brother Martin) High School, Class of 1963.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Visitation will resume at Holy Name of Mary Church in Algiers on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM with Funeral Mass following. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park.
