Spiro Pavlovich

Spiro Pavlovich of Algiers, LA entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Peggy Edgecombe Pavlovich for 60 years. Father of Sallee Pavlovich Caplinger (Husband Charles), Susanne Pavlovich Coates (Husband Jeff) and David Pavlovich (Wife Betsy Deano). Son of the late Milos Pavlovich and Sofija Milinovich Pavlovich. Grandfather of Garret John Coates (Wife Jessica), Dillon Wayne Coates, Taylor Sophia Pavlovich and David Hoss Pavlovich. Spiro was born in Yugoslavia and was a resident of Nairn, LA for the past 32 years. He was founder of Nairn Concrete Company in 1955; President and Owner of Atlas Boat Service; Charter Board Member of Mississippi River Bank for 34 years; Served on the Louisiana State Mineral Board for 8 years; a member of the Croatian Benevolent Society and Charter Member of the Krewe of Bacchus. He served his country while enlisted in Germany with the United States Army. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 9AM until 12 Noon. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at Noon. Interment will be in Nairn Cemetery, Nairn, LA.
