Stacey Lynn Bowers, a devoted woman of God, was called home to be with her Lord on March 4, 2023, at the age of 56. Stacey was loving person and always happy, especially when she was around her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and last but not least, all her children from Believer’s Life Family Church that she would volunteer to teach every Sunday.
She had a heart of gold and was always there if anyone needed help. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, Godmother, and friend. She was a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana.
Stacey graduated from John Ehret High School in Marrero, Class of 1985. She loved to shop, go to the movies, and go to Church.
She is a loving daughter to her mother, Sylvia T. Bowers and her father, the late Roy E. Bowers, Jr. Sister to Roy A. Bowers (Lisa), and sister-in-law to Althea Bowers. Nieces, Roylyn Bowers, Amanda Figueredo (Adam), Adalena and Aiden, Christian Petit (Josh), Payton and Carter and sister to Shelley Duvall (Darrin) and nephews, Landon and Everett. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We want to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to the nurses and doctors of Ochsner Main Campus ICU and Stroke Unit and to Wynhoven Health Care Center for all the love, care and compassion that was given to Stacey and her family during this difficult time.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 11am until 1:30pm. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment McDonogh Cemetery in Gretna.
