Stanley Francis Alexander

Stanley Francis Alexander, a native of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at his home in Harvey, LA. Beloved husband of 62 years to Mary Bordelon Alexander. Father of Dean G. Alexander, husband of Robin Alexander, Michael J. Alexander, husband of Denise Alexander, Glenn J. Alexander, Laura Alexander Johnson, wife of Sean Johnson, the late Kerry J. Alexander and Jennifer Ann Alexander. Grandfather of Michael J. Alexander Jr., husband of Vanessa Alexander, Mandi Alexander, Eric Alexander, Lindsay Alexander, Dean G. Alexander Jr., Audrey Rose Johnson and Ian Johnson. Great-grandfather of Mason Alexander and Landen Alexander. Brother of the late Marie Alexander Jenkins. Son of the late George B. Alexander and Vesta Gussoni Alexander. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Stanley retired as general manager with Quaglino Vending Co. He spent many years coaching his young sons in little league and was an avid Tulane and Saints fan, never missing the chance to cheer for his teams. But most of all, he was a dedicated and loving family man who loved spending time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed but his life will be celebrated.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 2114 Oakmere Dr, Harvey, LA 70058, to have Masses said in Stanley’s name.
