Stephen J. "Steve" Spera

Stephen J. “Steve” Spera passed away on May 19, 2013 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of Sadvitri Oktarina Spera. Survived by his children, Margot and Louis Spera and their mother, Melanie Amadon. Brother of David L. Spera (Faith) and Mary Catherine Stall (Richard). Son of the late Marguerite Taravella Spera and Louis J. Spera.
Steve graduated from West Jefferson High School and the University of New Orleans where he earned a BS in Chemistry. He worked as a mineralogist and technical advisor for Freeport-McMoran and later for SUCOFINDO, the superintending mining company of Indonesia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow.
