Steven Allen Meaux

Steven Allen Meaux passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Beloved husband of Jodie Taravella Meaux for 33 years. Son of Claude and Bernice Gros Meaux. Father of Brady Meaux (Laura) and Travis Meaux. Grandfather of Benjamin Meaux. Brother of Claudette Gautreaux (Dave), Bryan Meaux (Kathy), and Lyndon Meaux (Tammy). Brother in law of Rhonda Panepinto (Lyle). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. Age 56 years, a native of Marrero, and resident of Gretna for the last 21 years. Faithful member of Christ Baptist Church of Harvey, LA where he served the Lord through music ministry. He was known for his sense of humor, and loved his family dearly, especially spending time with his grandson Benjamin. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Cancer Center and the 5th and 8th Floor at West Jefferson Medical Center, and the Sanctuary at Passages Hospice of New Orleans.
