Steven C. Williams

Steven Charles Williams passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the age of 67. He was born in Langdale, Alabama, on April 26, 1957 to the late Willie Mae Irvin Williams and Nicholas Williams, Sr.

He is the fiancé of Rhonda Bauer; was the husband of both the late Bernadine “Moo” Williams and Rhonda Shano; the father of Stephanie Leco, Ashlee Dupre, Jamie Lynn Ponthier; step-father to Mea Felps-Darley, and Rocky Felps; the grandfather of Trinity Williams, Kaylee Folse, Jayden Williams, Hunter Dupre, Sophia Felps, Dalton Felps, Logan Darley, and Rocky Felps, Jr.; the great grandfather of Greyson Alleno; the brother of Nicky Williams, K.W. Williams, Lynn Williams, Beth Ann Williams, the late Linda Pinkard McIntyre and the late Dale Williams; and godfather of Harley Dispascal, Amber Davidson, Meghan Gilson, J.P. Shano, Robert Shano, and the late Kenny Williams Jr. 

He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.

A proud resident of Harvey. He served his country in the Navy and retired as a Seamen. Steven work as a Building Maintenance Supervisor for the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. Steven was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the outstanding care provided by Serenity Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Mothe Funeral Home, Harvey on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:30 pm with visitation from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana 70056.
