Susan Ledet Roddy passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the age of 55. Beloved wife of Glenn Michael Roddy. Mother of John Marroy and Julia Marroy. Mother in law of Melba Fann Marroy. Step mother of Ian Poche. Grandmother of Peyton Majoria, Gage Marroy and Bryce Fann. Sister of Lucius “L.J.” Ledet (wife Fie Ledet Yahatta) and the late Eugene “Gene” Ledet. Aunt of Connie Ledet Matherne (husband Billy) and the late Michael Ledet. Great aunt of Kaleb and Cade Matherne. Daughter of the late Lucius Joseph Ledet and Gloria Dragon Ledet. Mrs. Roddy was an employee of U.P.S. in Harvey, LA for 35 years. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, Westwego and Higgins High School, Marrero, LA. A lifelong resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 6:30PM.
