Susanne Dufrene Latham, born in Raceland, LA lived in Gheens, LA, Buras, LA and recently in Belle Chasse, LA for the past 40 years, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of Charles C. Latham, Sr. Mother of Charles C. Latham, Jr. Daughter of Eurice A. Dufrene and Lois S. Dufrene. Granddaughter of the late Harry and Viola Sampey and the late Elies T. and Mathilda Dufrene. Sister of Otis A. Dufrene of Crownsville, Maryland, Curt F. Dufrene of Port Sulphur, LA and Stacey D. Cuccia of Gretna, LA. She was Nanny to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was 59 years of age. Susanne was an employee of Regions Bank. Employees of Regions Bank, Chevron Chemical Company, neighbors and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 8AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Monday at 10AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
