Sydney Daigle Enright

On Friday, August 28, 2015, Sydney Daigle Tompson Enright, Age 97, passed into eternal life. Born on Bayou Cane in Houma, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Hypolite Daigle and Adenise Bourgeois Daigle. Beloved wife of the late Noel James Tompson and the late Michael John Enright, Sr. Beloved mother of Judith Marie Tompson, James Stephen Tompson (Carollee) and the late Noel Lee Tompson Owen. Sister of the late Harvey Daigle, Janet Daigle Enright and Emile Daigle. Beloved grandmother of Dawn Tompson Waterhouse, Jennifer Anne Owen, Natalie Tompson Buisson and Noel James Tompson. Beloved great-grandmother of Ciji Carollee Boutian, Shea Dawn Creppel, Gage Scott Matherne, Nia Key, Seleste Key, Mario Alberto Waterhouse, Jr., and Isla Brigitte Buisson. Beloved great-great-grandmother of Bubby Charles Boutian, Jr. Beloved step-mother of Michael J. Enright, Jr. (Cindy) and the late Patricia Enright Manning (Meryl) and their families.
Sydney had the gifts of family, laughter and peace. She also enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, travel, dancing, friendship, C.D.M. Coffee and holiday gatherings.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday morning from 9:30am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
