Sylma Jeanne Clinton

Sylma Jeanne Meggison Clinton passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the age of 82. She was born in Carthage, TX on September 14, 1930 to the late Charles Hal and Sylma Shaw Megginson. Sister of the late Virginia Lou Megginson. Beloved mother of Julie Beth Roper, Laurie Lou Nielsen and the late James Daniel Clinton. Granny of Shannon Jeanne Fasullo, Thomas James Rose, Jr., Christopher Lee Rose, Howard Lee Roper, III and Daniel James Clinton. Great Granny of Samantha JoAnn Fasullo, Tyler Christopher Rose, Thomas James Rose, III and Zachary Paul Fasullo. Adored by her dear and loving friend JoAnn Jacobsen. Sylma began her teaching career in Longview, Texas before moving to Louisiana. She taught for 30 years at Terrytown Elementary School in Gretna where she demonstrated her caring, loving and generous ways. She was an avid fan of the computer forming many friendships worldwide.
