Sylvia Guerin Brown

Sylvia Guerin Brown passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024 at the age of 73. Wife of Charles Ray Brown. Mother of Stacy Falcone (Joseph), Bobbie Buckley (Ronnie), Tonya Romero (Brian), and Robin Jarusook (Tony). Grandmother of Jessica, Kristine, Michael, Heath, Matthew, Brittany, Samantha, Tabitha, Hannah, and Mia. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren. Sister of Paul Guerin (Patricia), Jane Simoneaux (Carroll), and the late Elra Guerin. Daughter of the late Fredrica Wilson Guerin and Herbert Sostan Guerin. 

Sylvia was born and raised in the New Orleans area and spent much of her professional career in retail sales. In her younger days, she enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, and bowling. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9am to 11am. A Memorial Service will follow.
