Sylvia Orason Buck

Sylvia Orason Buck passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved and loving wife of 60 years to Frank M. Buck, Sr. Mother of Leonard E. Wiggins, Jr., Lonnie J. Wiggins, Barry M. Wiggins, Ethel Buck Cantu, Elizabeth Buck Waguespack, Frank M. Buck, Jr. and the late Darryl I. Buck. Grandmother of 10; great grandmother of 6. Sister of Ida Marques, Una Peck and the late J.D. Orason, Roy Orason and Jerry Orason. Sylvia is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in Brownsville, Texas, was a longtime resident of Patterson, LA and recently a resident of Marrero, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
