Tamela "Tammy" Merry Percle

Tamela “Tammy” Merry Percle a beloved partner, daughter, sister, mother andgrandmother passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 at the age of 66. She was born on September 14, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Leonard Merry and Nelle Drake. She was a shining light in our lives, known for her unwavering kindness and generosity. Always willing to give the shirt off her back, she never met a stranger and had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Tamela shared a long and loving partnership with Douglas, who accompanied her through life’s journey. She is survived by her cherished sister, Cheryl, and her three loving daughters: Misty (Michael), Angela, and Pamela. Her legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Justin, Michael (Maggie), Devin, Caitlyn (James), Emily (Alex), Ella, and Kenzie, and her great- grandchildren: Lucille, Viviana, and Jonah, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fresenius Kidney Care, as well as the Westwego EMS and police, for their compassionate care and support during her time of need. As we say goodbye to Tamela, we remember her not just for the love she shared with us, but for the warmth she spread to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will always remain a part of our lives.
