Tana Mudge Robinson passed away on November 20th, 2024. She is survived by her husband John T Robinson of 46 years, her son Benjamin Sauvolle Gravolet III (Katie Sellers Gravolet), her grandchildren John “Jack” Kenneth Gravolet (Koray Davis), Dawn Camille Gravolet and Peter Nicholas Gravolet, her parents Josephine Montana Mudge and the late Thomas Steven Mudge Sr., her siblings, Thomas Steven Mudge Jr., Michael Anthony Mudge (Barbara Mudge), George Emile Mudge, Pamela Ann Mudge, Anthony Joseph Mudge (Gwen Mudge), Richard Gerard Mudge (Audrey Mudge), Edith Mudge Freeney and John Paul Mudge (Susan Mudge), also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Tana had a glamourous style that matched her personality and lifestyle. Her hard work ethic, sharp and aggressive business mind and attention to detail led her to many accomplishments in life including owning Snelling Personnel Services in New Orleans for more than 25 years, being the President of LAPS (Louisiana Association of Personnel Consultants). While not working and in retirement Tana enjoyed many things including traveling, cooking, baking, taking care of her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, gardening, painting, and hosting events and holidays for her friends and family. Her travels took her everywhere, but it was in Paris where she made many friends and memories over the five years she traveled and lived there with her husband. While taking care of her grandchildren, niece, and great nieces she shared her love of cooking baking and painting. Tana truly left an impression and lasting mark on the loved ones in her life. Life lessons she taught all will last over time and thru generations. A true pioneer and example for women on how to advance in a man’s world. Head strong, complex, intelligent beautiful, giving person never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all. Her celebration of life will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA 70072 on Saturday, November 23rd , Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM with services to follow at 1:30 PM.
