Terrence Bertram "Terry" Hunka

Terrence “Terry” Bertram Hunka, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the age of 77 years, following a brief struggle with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carole Bowie Hunka. Father of Craig Hunka (Tammy) and Kelly Rodriguez (Earl). Grandfather of Alexandra (Spencer), James (My Le), Michaela (Bryant), Courtney, Evan and Brent. Great-grandfather of Mya. He is also survived by his sister, Dixie Schoepp (Ted) and brother, James, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Since both Terry and Carole worked with young adults with special needs, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Special Connections, 3705 Clifford, Metairie, LA 70002 or call 504-834-5052.
