With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Thanh Van Kim on April 13, 2025 at the age of 60. He departed this life surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by his devoted family, friends, and most of all, his three sons. He was a hardworking man, and despite that, he always looked for a way to enjoy life to the fullest. He absolutely loved his rock music, and he also was a quick-witted man that had a knack for dark humor. Out of all who have met him, no one can say that they did not like him but most can say that they adored his presence. Thanh’s quiet strength and enduring love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, and his memory will be treasured always. We will carry his legacy in our hearts and miss him more than words can express. Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 LaPalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on Thursday April 24, 2025 from 3PM to 10PM with Mass being held at 7:30PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 7AM until 9:30AM. Funeral Mass will be held at the Assumption of Mary Church, 172 Andre Dung Lac Dr., Avondale, LA 70094 at 10AM.
