Theda C. Dauenhauer Ray

Theda C. Dauenhauer Ray entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Ray. Daughter of the late Louis L. Dauenhauer, Sr. and Mamie Sprauer Dauenhauer. Mother of Judith Ray Dufrene. Grandmother of Wade Tauzin, Holly Tauzin Smith and Toni Mitchell. Great Grandmother of Kyston Smith, Nicholas Thorning, Jenna Tauzin, Marshall Mitchell and Eva Mitchell. Sister of the late Louis L. Dauenhauer, Jr., Alvin Dauenhauer, Elodie Johnson and Mary Erlinger. Theda is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
