Theresa Smith Robert passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Beloved wife of 50 years to George B. Robert. Mother of Donna Robert (Don), Georgia Comeaux (Roland), Phyllis Dufrene (Hunley, Sr.) and Belinda Pauli. Daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Smith. Sister of the late Ann Chaisson. Grandmother of Alexis Hebert (Jacob), Brandy LeBlanc, Hunley Dufrene, Jr., Jenna Sapia, Courtney Thompson (James) and Dawn Dufrene. Great Grandmother of Corrine, Zachary, Caden and James, Jr. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Age 73 years. A native of Grand Caillou, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Ochsner ICU, CCU and 7th floor Staff and Home Health, St. Joseph Hospice, Caregiver Don Glissen, the City of Westwego, Amvets Post 38, Westwego Fire Department, Ernest J. Tassin Senior Center, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, AARP, Ochsner Clinic and Avondale Shipyards for their care given to Theresa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Avenue A and 4th Streets, Westwego, LA on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
