Theresa “Bessie” Landry Shackelford passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Earl Shackelford, Sr. Mother of Earl (Jim) Shackelford, Jr. (Dani) and David Shackelford (Joy). Grandmother of Evan (Jim) Shackelford, Erin S. Murphy, Lynlee S. Selman, Devin S. Louviere, and Mandy Richard. Great grandmother of Sofia, Evan, Gavin, Macie, Levi, Carter, Alana, and Brennon. Daughter of the late Louis Landry and Leonora LeBlanc Landry. Sister of Merlene Duhon and the late Earline Landry, Shirley May Landry, and Beatrice Ruiz. Sister-in-law of Peggy Shackelford and Alice Rousse. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at 1:30PM at Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church Cemetery in Buras, LA.
