Thomas “Tommy” James Abadie, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Sandra Broussard Abadie. Father of Wade Rivero (Nicole) and Mysti Abadie. Grandfather of Tamyiah, Micah and Elijah. Son of Edwina “Winnie” Bourg Abadie and the late Thomas “Butch” Abadie, Sr. Brother of Becki Vincent and Troy Abadie. Uncle of Chrissi, Christopher (Heather), Grady, Jeff (Margaret), Al (Dawn) and TJ. Brother-in-law of Marie Matherne (the late Alvin). The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation and thank you to Journey Hospice, Canon Hospice, ALS Foundation and Divine Purpose and Reliable PCA for their care given to Tommy during his time of need. Tommy was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA. He was a member of the American Pool Player Association (NOLAAPA) and Westbank Pool League. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
