Thomas F. Hixon

Thomas Franklin Hixon, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA, died Monday, March 16, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Vicki Weaver Hixon. Loving father of Melissa Ann Underwood and Ashley Renee Hixon. Step Father of Penny Crosby (Chris). Grandfather of Kearsty, Garrett, Ashley, Avalon, Michael, Kirstyn, Jenna and Anthony. Brother of Oliver E. Hixon, Jr. (Lenora) and Clarence E. Hixon of California. Former husband of Diane C. Hixon. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Son of the late Ethel Bond and Oliver E. Hixon, Sr. Mr. Hixon was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, Marrero, LA and was formerly employed by Shell Oil and Whitney (Hancock) Bank.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 9 AM until 11 AM. The Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
