Timothy David Campbell, recently retired Captain of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office after having served for 38 years, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 21, 2016. Beloved husband of Dena Watts Campbell; step-father of Christian Gonzalez (Shelly Ballay) and “Papa” to baby Shaleigh Gonzalez. Devoted son of Levelle C. Perilloux and the late Patrick J. Campbell, Jr. and step-son of the late Cleveland C. Perilloux, Jr.; brother of Julie C. Hernandez (Douglas, Jr.), Daniel J. Campbell (Dale), Michael J. Campbell (Patricia), Patrick J. Campbell, III, (Daphne) and Christopher Campbell (Gayle). He is also survived by his in-laws Denney and Evelyn Watts, Marguerite and Danny Holmes, Dana and Kevin Friar, Denise and Robert Ardeneaux, David Watts and Sean Woislawski. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by other relatives, Allison Claire Campbell and Elsa E. Watts. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of the Westbank for the past 25 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and members of J.P.F.O.P. Lodge 12 are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 1pm. Interment, Lakelawn-Metairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10am until 1pm.
